Break in at Gringotts

Startling reports say that late last night a Death Eater and Ministry Auror dueled on the roof Gringotts bank. The Ministry Auror, name withheld, sustained major injuries and is currently housed in St. Mungo's. He is expected to make a full recovery once the purple oozing from his ears has been halted and he regains the ability to speak English.

The Death Eater is currently at large after the incident and is considered very dangerous. The Wizarding populous is advised once again to consult their household defense pamphlets and to not venture out at night. Once more, the Office of Magical Law Enforcement would greatly appreciate any wizard who notices any unusual amount of spending from anyone to report it for inquiry.

Gringotts states that even though it was only minor amounts of gold stolen, it was still enough to rouse a cause of suspicion. Along with the vaults that carried the gold, several other vaults were raided, but with nothing taken.

"The pattern of the raided vaults lead us to believe that the offending Death Eater was looking for something other than gold," said Ministry Official Rodney Tackherd, "but it cannot be ascertained what at this time. If you with to lodge a complaint for the lack of security at Gringotts please send an owl to <<please see 'Owl' on pg. 8 for sending address>>

Gringotts' Goblins state that increased security will be put into action, including patrols of lower vaults and armed security trolls. Whether these defenses will do, only time will tell.

don't get me wrong or anything. i think this news is very significant, its just that i think the Prophet is an excellent place to announce my

nvm, i'm just a little upset after that damn jinx those goblins put on the vault-I now once again have full left and right brain functions working, and managed to conjure up a new arm...*heads off to diagon alley to spend a huge load of cash*
